Abraham Wolde’s traditional Melse program
Actor, producer, and novelist I, II, and III Balageru Abraham Wolde is an Ethiopian music producer, author, and actor. He has opened a new state-of-the-art recording studio in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
Abraham’s aptitude was noticed when he was 11 years old and won his first creative writing competition in Zeway on World Children’s Day. Because of his writing and sketching ability, Abraham was recruited by Ethiopian Radio at the age of 16 to feature in a variety of comedy shows, one of which became an instant hit. After that, Abraham began a “tour of self-discovery” in which he learned about Ethiopia’s buried cultural history.
