Actress Mahder Asefa is back

A ceremony in which awards are presented is referred to as a ceremony. A government agency, a group, a school, a trade association, or even a company that specializes in award ceremonies could host the event. Typically, a master of ceremonies introduces award recipients, addresses the audience, entertains the audience, and keeps the ceremony moving. In Ancient Greece, tragedy and comedy competitions were held annually, with the support of the wealthier citizens. Awards were given for the best play, the best production, and the best acting. Initially, there were two award ceremonies at the Olympics. The winners of each competition were presented with palm branches by the judges. On the last day of the games, the winners of each competition were announced and crowned with olive wreaths. No medals were awarded to the runners-up because they were deemed insignificant, and only the winner was announced. Athletes would routinely risk substantial fines and pay judges to be recognized as champions. From humble beginnings, the primary American media awards have evolved into prime-time television spectacles. In 1929, three months after the winners were announced, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences held its first awards ceremony at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel. In a 15-minute ceremony, the Oscar statuettes for best film, best actress, and best actor were presented. The Golden Globe Awards were founded in 1944 by eight journalists from the Hollywood Foreign Correspondents Association. They intended to present awards for the best film, actress, and actor.
