Tirunesh Dibaba believes the most optimal recipe for her athletic success is responsibility, dedication, and a strong desire to win. Tirunesh discovered her legs while sprinting in primary school PE class. When she spoke Ethiopia at the 2001 World Cross Country Championships in Belgium, she was only 15 years old. She earned her second Olympic gold medal in the 10,000-meter race in 2012, making her the first woman to ever hold the championship in the event.
