The majority of people have been in love at some point in their lives. They may have dismissed it as a minor occurrence, a delightful sensation that they were able to enjoy without having to think about what went into it. At first, love is generally like that. You fall in love with someone, and there’s a sense of freedom and ease when you’re dating. However, if you care for someone for a long time and are with them for a long time, you may find that love requires sacrifice at times.
It is stated that before loving another person, you must first love yourself. That may be an oversimplification, but the reality is that if you don’t feel comfortable in your own skin, it will be difficult for you to open up to others and trust them. It’s incredibly special once you reach to that point. When you can tell your loved one anything and know that they would stay with you without criticizing you, it is a show of maturity on your part.
