Even though there are many more danger indicators telling you the opposite, there will always be little things here and there that you can read as signs that the guy likes you back when you like him. If you tell your friends about a chat you had with a guy you like, they’ll probably confirm that, yeah, the eye contact he made with you does indicate that you two are attracted to one another. The main reason for this is because your buddies believe you’re amazing and don’t know why anyone else would disagree. Even when it’s blindingly obvious that a guy isn’t into you, we’re very adept at tricking ourselves into thinking there’s something there with him with the help of our pals. It’s how we maintain our optimistic bubble, which is, in our opinion, the ideal place to be. Things are pretty exciting while we’re there, if a little stressful and very up and down. And we believe that by holding onto hope, there is still a chance that the guy we admire would reciprocate our feelings. The greatest place for you to be isn’t in that bubble, though, as I’m here to tell you. In fact, the sooner you can deflate that bubble and return to reality, the more likely it is that you’ll start noticing the other men nearby and stop squandering time and energy fretting over a person who isn’t interested.
