Leza award and attending celebrities

An awards ceremony is a type of gathering when awards are given out. A government body, a group, a school, a trade association, or even a firm that specialized in award ceremonies could host the event. A master of ceremonies typically introduces award recipients, addresses the audience, entertains the audience, and keeps the ceremony moving. Annual competitions for tragedy and comedy were held in Ancient Greece, with the wealthier inhabitants funding them. There were awards for best play, best production, and best acting. There were two award ceremonies in the early Olympic Games. The judges presented palm branches to the champions of each event. The event winners were revealed and crowned with olive garlands on the final day of the games. Because the runners-up were thought inconsequential, no medals were awarded, and only the winner was announced. Athletes would often risk large fines and pay judges to be recognized as champions. The main American media awards have grown from humble beginnings to big prime-time broadcast spectacles. Three months after the winners were announced, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences held its first awards ceremony at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel in 1929. In a 15-minute ceremony, the Oscar statuettes for best film, best actress, and best actor were presented. The Hollywood Foreign Correspondents Association, which consisted of eight journalists, founded the Golden Globe Awards in 1944. They intended to give out awards for best film, best actress, and best actor.
