If you’ve ever experienced unrequited love, you know how tough it can be. When you find out that the girl of your dreams isn’t interested in you at all, it’s one of the worst feelings in the world. The alternative, for many of us, is to ignore the obvious and take every sign of affection or admiration she gives us as proof that she isn’t truly slipping away. We bury our heads in the sand. A huge red flag, however, is that you’re asking yourself this question in the first place. You’re just extending the agony, in the end. In the end, it’s best to know the truth about your current situation so you can move on to a new person who likes you as much as you like them. It’s not always a bad sign if your sweetheart alters his or her plans for you. The end of a romantic relationship is unlikely if your partner has only requested a rain check a few times due to illness or an unintentional double booking.
