A teacher, often known as a schoolteacher or educator, is a person who assists students in gaining knowledge, competence, or virtue. Anyone can take on the job of teacher informally (e.g. when showing a colleague how to perform a specific task). In certain countries, rather than in a formal environment such as a school or college, young people of school age may be taught in an informal setting such as inside the family (homeschooling). Other occupations may necessitate a large quantity of teaching (e.g. youth worker, pastor). I’d prefer to work as an air hostess, which is a less prestigious position. Many people relate flight attendants to helpers, thus they are undervalued. However, it is a job that allows you to travel the world while caring for passengers from all walks of life. You also get to work with a variety of people rather than following a set pattern like a businessman, which can be tedious. I wouldn’t mind working in a small office where I could do what I wanted and be content. Many people have sacrificed their talents and originality to conform into society’s norms, and occupations such as the arts are frequently labeled as a waste of time.
