OLA Says It Detained three Chinese Nationals

As per Addis Standard, The Oromo Liberation Army, OLA, said in an articulation that its powers have “kept three Chinese nationals associated with mining activities around Mendi, West Wellega.” There are no reports so far of missing Chinese nationals around there, and the assertion shipped off a few news sources this evening didn’t determine when the three were confined, nor the name of the mining organization they are subsidiary with, however it said: “they are all in safe hands and healthy.” OLA recognized the three Chinese as “Mr. Huang, Mr. He, Mr. Wang.”

The assertion was likewise tweeted by Odaa Tarbii, the OLA representative. We have confined three Chinese nationals engaged with mining tasks around Mendi, West Welega. They are all in safe hands and healthy. These activities are shady and got illicit as of October tenth, 2020.
