The people that lived long including the 162 years old

These are lists of the 100 oldest known verified individuals, listed in decreasing order of years and days of age. Jeanne Calment (1875–1977) of France, who lived to the age of 122 years and 164 days, is the oldest person whose age has ever been independently verified. Jiroemon Kimura (1897–2013) of Japan, who lived to the age of 116 years and 54 days, is the oldest verified man ever. At 118 years and 263 days old, Frenchwoman Lucile Randon is the oldest known living person. Juan Vicente Pérez Mora, a Venezuelan, is the oldest man still alive. He is 113 years and 158 days old. On average, the 100 oldest women have lived longer than the 100 oldest men. At Guinness World Records, we honor a variety of accomplishments, including some that are as simple as living a long life. Because it’s amazing to see the ages that people can reach, this category is always a constant inclusion in our annual book. Along with the oldest individuals still alive, we have followed a number of other older individuals who have broken records over the years, such as Harry Bidwell, who in 1980 at the age of 101 became the oldest individual to divorce. She is also the oldest actress, having played herself in the 1990 Canadian film Vincent and Me at the age of 114. She had a full life, learning to fence in her 80s, and cycling into her 100s. She died on August 4, 1997. She claimed that olive oil, port, and chocolate were the keys to her long life; at the age of 120, she quit smoking.
