The government of Ethiopia has repeatedly called on humanitarians in the region to be escorted by military personnel while operating in such areas to avoid such tragic deaths by the terrorist group. The Commission expressed condolences to families of the victims calling the international community and other concerned stakeholders to be cognizant of such heinous acts of the Junta and stand in solidarity with the federal government. Police further called upon humanitarians to work jointly with concerned government security forces in the areas reiterating continued law enforcement measures against the Junta.
