What is new with Haile and Nibret’s DNA

Haile Gebrselassie was born in Ethiopia on April 18, 1973. Among his many accomplishments are four 10,000-meter World Championship titles and Olympic gold medals. He has won the Berlin and Dubai marathons over the past four years. The 2001 World Half Marathon Champion and four Indoor World Championships are further accomplishments. Haile started competing in road events after giving up cross country and indoor running, winning major medals across distances ranging from 1500 meters to the marathon. His accomplishments include 27 world record holders and more than 60 Ethiopian national record holders. At the age of 35, he broke his own world record to win the Berlin Marathon with a time of 2:03:59, breaking it by 27 seconds. Ethiopia’s inflation rate reached a maximum of 33.6 percent in February 2022. The headline inflation rate is lower in February 2022 than it was in January 2022 on an annual basis (34.5 percent). Food inflation increased to 41.9 percent in February from 39.9 percent in January. From 27.3 percent in January 2021 to 22.9 percent in January 2022, non-food inflation decreased. The main causes of food inflation include cooking oils and fats, non-alcoholic drinks, bread and cereals, fish and sea food, dairy products, and animal goods. A chronic devaluation of the local currency and supply restrictions on the domestic market brought on by limited agricultural production are the main causes of the country’s exorbitantly high inflation rates.
