In a sense, when someone fail an exam, you might as well fail it as well because you share their emotions. Seeing them in distress distresses you, but you participate in each other’s enjoyment. No one is more proud of their significant other than you, and nothing makes you happier than when they achieve. If your significant other does not admire you for who you are, they are likely not your soulmate. Your soulmate should not disregard your emotions and thoughts. They should respect and adore you and treat you nicely at all times. You do not need to be identical to your SO in order to be soulmates. You two can have dissimilar temperaments, upbringings, and histories yet still be destined for one another. When you witness how you two, as very different people, come together, that is the crucial moment. You may never agree on which television program to watch or which pizza toppings to order, but when it comes to life’s most significant matters, you’re on the same page. In terms of your life objectives, you and your partner share comparable aspirations. I am not implying that you both desire the same career path or college. I’m implying that you and your partner are in agreement over your post-graduation plans and/or your desire to raise a family. Clearly, there will be arguments, but you two agree on the most important matters. This is a reasonably accurate indicator of long-term relationship satisfaction.
