It goes without saying that having the direction and influence of two loving parents is essential if you genuinely believe in giving kids every chance to achieve. Some would argue that it has to do with a strong male influence, yet contrast might be more important. Many of the males in our company would do anything to spend a whole weekend binge-watching football. Both genders are capable of displaying traditional masculine and feminine characteristics. Children benefit from having a variety of role models. Everybody has their own flaws and faults in addition to their strengths. Hopefully, your child’s other parent can provide a better example for them if you are lacking in one area. Maybe your shared weaknesses are the reason you divorced in the first place. I hope that at least one of you gains knowledge that will enable you to get past your weaknesses.
From a personal standpoint, the writer has never met and has no notion of the whereabouts or identity of his biological father. I grew up with an amazing adoptive family and a father who lived his entire life for his children. He was the epitome of a loving and supporting father.
