We are an organization dedicated to improving the lives of the elderly and people with mental disabilities by offering the center’s residents all the necessities, including food, clothing, shelter, hygienic facilities, medical care, education, and more. giving all disabled and aged persons in the nation access to education, training, and employment possibilities; supporting the disabled by encouraging and rehabilitating them to develop their physical and mental capacities; assisting the aged and disabled in obtaining and keeping a job and meeting other requirements to fully engage in society on a daily basis, Working to improve livelihoods, biodiversity, and inclusive and integrated community development, particularly for the aged and disabled, as well as raising public understanding and acceptance of the needs, challenges, and capacities. Benyam Belete established the Mekedonia Humanitarian Association, also referred to as Mekedonia, in January 2010 as an autonomous, non-governmental, non-profit humanitarian organization in Ethiopia. It is the only autonomous organization in Ethiopia that provides funding and support for elderly individuals, persons with mental illnesses, and people with severe disabilities by providing them with food, clothing, shelter, and counseling. Benyam Belete formed the Mekedonia Humanitarian Association on January 7, 2010, with the goal of helping the elderly and mentally ill. The charity provides elderly and disabled persons with information, counseling, shelter, food, clothing, and other requirements. In this endeavor, MHU helps the most vulnerable individuals with disabilities who accomplish their key social agendas using a variety of methods and tactics.
