In addition to being a good role model and shielding them from danger, you must be able to put your child’s needs ahead of your own and let them make errors and grow from them. ‘Nurture’ is the operative term here. Though there are many other ways that children can learn, seeing how others behave is arguably the most effective. Children look up to their parents as role models, and they learn from the things they do. They reject the undesirable behavior after imitating the desired one. Therefore, when your children are learning from you both directly and indirectly, it is imperative that you are aware of who you are and how others see you. Your kids must learn the difference between right and wrong and witness it in action every day. It’s crucial to keep in mind that nobody is flawless, especially when thinking about the duties that fathers have. Because we are only human, mistakes do happen from time to time. The most crucial lesson to impart, though, is that we can all grow from our mistakes and make an effort to not repeat them. Your upbringing has undoubtedly shaped your perspective on what it means to be a father. Some parents attempt to “fix” issues from their own upbringing or current circumstances. They could give their youngster too high expectations.
