What is the cause of breast pain

Tenderness, throbbing, acute, stabbing, scorching, or tightness in the breast tissue are some of the symptoms of breast pain. Men, women, and transgender persons can all experience the pain, which can either be ongoing or simply sporadically present. A person may experience minor to severe breast pain. Only a few times a month, in the final two to three days before the menstrual cycle begins. This typical mild-to-moderate breast soreness is bilateral. a week or more per month, sometimes extending into the menstrual cycle and beginning before a menstruation. The pain affects both breasts and can range from mild to severe. not connected to a menstrual cycle, but happening all month long. The milk ducts or milk glands may vary as a result of fluctuating hormone levels. Breast cysts are a common cause of cyclic breast discomfort and can be quite painful due to changes in the ducts and glands. There are a few possible causes of noncyclic breast discomfort, including trauma and previous breast surgery. Breast pain can have several causes, some of which are preventable while others may raise the risk. Although it can happen after menopause, breast pain is more common in individuals who have not yet reached menopause. Men with gynecomastia and transgender individuals undergoing gender reassignment may also have breast pain.
