Ethiopian Broadcasting Service (EBS TV) is an Ethiopian television channel that is privately owned. The Ethiopian-based network, which was formed in 2008, has correspondents in the United States as well as at its headquarters in Silver Spring, Maryland. EBS TV mostly broadcasts programmes in Amharic. Ethiopia’s first private television channel is EBS TV.
EBS TV broadcasts a wide range of entertainment content, such as talk shows, game shows, movies, dramas, and more. The first local late-night chat show produced by EBS TV was Seifu on EBS, hosted by Seifu Fantahun. The channel is available via Nilesat’s 7°W position, and it is also available on DStv as of March 2017.
